At Arc’teryx, we care deeply about the health and safety of our community and our people. Over the course of the last several weeks, all of us have been coming to terms with an unprecedented public health concern that’s disrupted how we live, how we play, and how we work.
As the impacts of COVID-19 continue to affect our global community, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy. We value engaging and connecting with our community, and the decision to cancel the Alpine Academy was made with an abundance of caution and deep disappointment. However, we believe doing so is the responsible action to take, based on the recommendation of public health authorities, and our desire to do our part in mitigating the spread of the virus.
The current public health environment is affecting many, and we extend our heartfelt sympathies for all of those who have been impacted. As the situation evolves, we will continue to diligently monitor alerts from health authorities, while also observing any new shifts that take place within our communities. As a part of our community, we also ask you to take responsible action and follow the guidelines and recommendations of health authorities, so together, we can do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Thank you for being a part of our Arc’teryx community, and for your patience as we navigate through this challenge. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused you.
Be mindful, be well, and be strong.
