Step into the exciting and challenging world of vertical mountain running. Whether you're an alpinist looking for new ways to explore the mountains or a runner who wants to venture off the roads and onto the trails, this is the course for you. Join our experienced and enthusiastic athletes for a day of discovery and exciting new challenges. We will begin with a theory session with our athletes covering basic training principles, equipment choices, nutrition, and route planning. Once we're out on the trails you will be running for up to four hours in total, with regular breaks for our athletes to share expert tips and demonstrate useful techniques. The course will conclude with important post-run routines, recovery, stretching, and tips on how to avoid injuries.
• For beginner trail runners with good fitness who can run for two hours on the flat. We will tackle uphill climbs of 500 - 800m elevation gain (with breaks for training techniques).
