Clinic 24-SAT: Norvan Vertical Trail Running Level 2
You already do vertical mountain running, but you want to enter the next level? Then this course might be for you.
The course will be split in three parts. After a theoretical overview on training principles, equipment choices, nutrition and route planning, you will be out in the field. During a group run, you will get a training on advanced uphill & downhill techniques, focus on route finding and what to do on ice and snow.
After getting back, it’s all about how to cool down, stretching and how to avoid injuries.
Requirements: You should bring condition for uphills of approx. 1500-2000m (in this clinic, we will take breaks for training techniques)

WHAT TO BRING?
Trail running shoes, water- or windproof jacket (depending on weather), long-sleeve shirt, running shorts or tights, hat and gloves, dry shirt / long-sleeve to change,running backpack / pack / belt with hydration system, 1 l liquid (water, energy drink) in flask, 3 to 4 energy gels or bars, emergency blanket + optional: GPS-watch; heart rate monitor.
