Clinic 17-SAT: Ice Climbing for Women (Saturday)
This women-only clinic focuses on ice climbing and the lifestyle that comes with it.
This clinic gives you an introduction to the ice climbing world. Equipment, leashless tools, how to build an Abalakov anchor, ice climbing strategies, safety, ice terminology as well as route selection, ice grades will be covered here.
Requirements: Indoor or outdoor rock climbing experience. Level of climbing: 5c minimum. Ability to walk on crampons.

Meeting point/time: 7:15 am at Alpine Village in the town center of Chamonix

Basic mountaineering equipment + crampons (preferably ice climbing crampons), helmet, ice axe, harness, a sling (1.2 m), a screw-gate karabiner, belay device
